Chain Reaction Challenge
Supported by Urbex and the BMD Group, Peter Sherrie, Urbex General Manager last week took part in the Chain Reaction Challenge. The seven-day cycling challenge will took riders through the spectacular scenery of New Zealand’s South Island, while raising much needed funds for several children’s charities.

Since commencing in 2007, the Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation has raised over $21,950,000 on behalf of its charity partners. This year, Peter’s team fundraised for the AEIOU Foundation and The Ronald McDonald House (SEQ). Riders and support crew participated in the spirit of camaraderie, teamwork and fun with each event completed as a group and not as a race.

Peter completed his first Chain Reaction Challenge in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience so went back for more! Peter not only loves the physical challenge of cycling 1000 kilometres in one week, but more importantly the fundraising aspect.

Peter also had the added benefit of doing the event alongside his wife Patrice, who is known to be very competitive, both on the bike and when it comes to fundraising – which not only benefits the charities but makes it easier to complete the training.

If you would like to support Peter’s team, we encourage you to visit the Chain Reaction website and donate.
