BMD Group congratulates Community Housing Limited on the delivery of much needed social and affordable housing in regional Queensland

The BMD Group is pleased to be working alongside Community Housing Ltd (CHL), with support from the Queensland Government, to deliver social and affordable housing in the Darling Downs region.

BMD National General Manager – Urban David Moody said the Warwick project represents an important step toward providing more homes for Queenslanders who need them most.

“We commend CHL and the Queensland Government for their commitment on delivering more social and affordable homes for people in the Southern Downs region.

“As a Queensland-born business, BMD is passionate about giving back to the communities that have helped us grow. Through our collaboration with CHL, we’re continuing to invest in local jobs through the construction and support the delivery of essential housing for regional Queenslanders with 35 dwellings across the 2.5-hectare site,” Mr Moody said.

The Warwick project forms part of a wider effort to increase the supply of social and affordable housing across Queensland, with BMD contributing its civil and building capability to create well-designed, liveable communities.

The program highlights the strength of BMD’s integrated business model, bringing together Urbex, BMD Urban, Empower and JMac Constructions to achieve community-focused outcomes that have a lasting impact.
