Joining Urbex in 2017, Peter brings with him extensive experience in the property development industry. Originally a consulting civil engineer, Peter is the former Managing Director of Excel Development Group and has been a key contributor to the Australian property industry for over 25 years, including past projects with Stockland, Delfin, Lendlease and Peter Kurts Properties. Peter is a National and Queensland Life Member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), as well as the past National and State (QLD) President. Peter is also one of the founding members of the Future Housing Taskforce and is a former Board Member for Brisbane Marketing.

Craig joined Urbex in 2005 and is responsible for managing and implementing the strategic marketing and sales objectives across the company. Craig’s experience in sales and marketing management spans more than 30 years, and involves a broad spectrum of mid-to-large scale residential developments within Australia, Malaysia and other Asian regional markets. Previously, Craig was the Queensland Sales and Marketing Manager for Urban Pacific (Macquarie Bank) and from 1995- 2000 ran his own consultancy business in project marketing and sales, servicing Australia and Asian markets.

Todd began his career at Urbex in 2017, with over 22 years prior experience in the development and construction industry, including 14 years in senior
management positions. Throughout his career, Todd has accrued a holistic understanding of the development process including progressing projects through all aspects of acquisitions, construction and development phases.

Todd has applied his skills in project management to deliver ‘Capestone’, Urbex’s largest residential community in Mango Hill, and ‘Hillside’ a residential community set amongst the tranquil Mooloolah Valley.

Geoff began his career at Urbex in 2015, with 27 years prior experience across the planning and development sectors. Throughout his career, Geoff has accumulated an impressive portfolio across Australia in local Government, listed and unlisted Australian Property Trusts, and established development companies. Over the past five years with Urbex, Geoff has applied his earned skills in project management to deliver six projects, incorporating best practice in project development, environmentally sensitive design, and community integration.

David has 24 years industry experience in local government, private town planning consultancy, and property development. He applies his broad knowledge and experience to the many aspects of the development stages including project design, statutory approval requirements, project construction delivery and design control across residential, commercial and industrial projects. As Project Director,

David has been responsible for the design and delivery of two of Urbex’s master planned communities in North Queensland since 2006.

Joining Urbex in 2021, Kassi is an executive leader with over 15 years experience working in property and project focused roles. Her expertise lies in stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation, project management, facilitation and coordination, budget forecasting, business case feasibility, strategic planning, contract management, team building and mentorship.

With natural initiative and leadership skills that promote continuous improvement Kassi has successfully led teams to facilitate, implement and manage various major projects in the residential, industrial, defence, agriculture and tourism sectors from project inception through to project completion.

Joining Urbex in 2021, Carl is an experienced executive manager and property expert with more than 30 years in the construction and property industries across numerous aspects from land development and mixed-use precincts, to project management, design and feasibility studies.

Carl, a civil engineer by trade and a Fellow of the Urban Development Industry of Australia (FDIA), brings both technical engineering, construction and development expertise to lead the strategic direction, growth and development of Urbex’s property portfolio.

Brandon joined the Urbex team in 2021. Coming with over 5 years of experience within the development industry, Brandon is responsible for the day to day operations and delivery of the built form projects within the Urbex portfolio.

Holding a Bachelor of Regional & Town Planning, Brandon has an intimate understanding of the development process, from acquisition through to delivery. In previous roles with some of Australia’s most awarded developers, Brandon has successfully delivered infill development projects ranging from $5m to $100m across South East Queensland, many of which securing various industry awards and accolades.

Roger joined Urbex team in January 2022 with over 15 years’ experience within the construction industry. Roger has a back ground in civil/structural engineering and Project Management.

He is specialized in offering effective solutions for cost control, with robust ability to provide engineering and technical advice to the project team.  Roger’s role will be instrumental in helping Urbex develop and grow a built form (apartment) business with a strong and sustainable base in the residential market.

Filling the National Acquisition Manager role for Urbex is the accomplished Chris Cornish, who is responsible for building lasting relationships with landowners and acquiring quality residential development opportunities.

Chris, who joined the Urbex team in 2021, is highly experienced with over 20 years in the property industry, specialising in property acquisition and development. His career has included working with some of the most respected national & international real estate developers, funds and consultancy firms. Chris has an intimate understanding of the financial & commercial risk assessment procedures for large scale developments, a key component for successfully acquiring & delivering quality residential communities.

Joining Urbex in 2021, Matt has come from a transactional background working for over 5 years in agency. This time spent was focused across the divestment of varied property classes, ranging from built form retail shopping centres to residential development sites. 

At Urbex, Matt assists in sourcing and negotiation acquisitions at a national level. He is a licensed real-estate agent and holds a bachelor’s degree in Property Economics (QUT) majoring in economics and finance.

Re-joining Urbex in 2021, Lori brings over 30 years in marketing management for national brands across creative agencies, property development and retail sectors. She began her career with Urbex in 2008 to 2012 with over 20 years in marketing co-ordination roles applying her unique skillsets and in-depth knowledge across creative creation and project management.

Lori has successfully managed and co-ordinated multi-channel campaigns with award winning results and skilled in brand creation; consumer experience; sales and marketing strategy and project marketing management, along with a certification in behavioural change in business.

Commencing his career with Urbex in 2006, Phil has extensive experience in sales and customer service.  He has moved around the country selling land for Urbex across our national residential portfolio including award winning master planned communities in various regional and metropolitan locations. With a successful career in sales spanning more than 20 years, he has been a valued team member who has helped thousands of people secure land to build their dream homes and see them enjoy the benefits of home ownership in communities which have flourished in value over time with many repeat purchasers. Phil now manages Urbex Invest, a national specialist house and land investment division of Urbex, established to service the needs of Australian investors.
