South East Queensland

Since its establishment in 2003, Urbex has been a leading force in shaping South East Queensland’s development landscape. With over 12 developments across the region, Urbex’s portfolio spans from high-density dwellings to expansive property estates, including several award-winning communities.

Our projects vary in size, from boutique communities with as few as 15 allotments to large-scale developments featuring over 1,500 allotments, all designed to offer diverse living options and exceptional quality.

North Queensland

Since 2018, Urbex has played a key role in shaping the Townsville property market, with 6 completed communities and 2 active projects. Our developments span a range of sizes, from boutique communities to large master-planned projects with up to 1,500 homes. This includes an award for excellence in small residential subdivisions in North Queensland.

Our newest project, Somers & Hervey, is an 80-hectare master-planned community in Townsville, offering an exciting new chapter for the region. Urbex also operates further north into the Cairns market with the well-established Enclave residential community. Backed by local development and sales teams, Urbex is committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed living spaces tailored to the unique needs of each area.

Northern Territory

In 2010, Urbex entered the Northern Territory market in a joint venture with the NT Government to create its first residential community, Johnston Ridge. This was followed by Zuccoli Village, establishing Urbex’s presence in the region. Seizing the chance to provide high-quality, affordable living, Urbex launched The Heights Durack, a master-planned community offering modern tropical living and a relaxed lifestyle amid the NT’s natural beauty.

Zuccoli Village and The Heights Durack each showcase unique urban planning tailored to the diverse needs of residents, enhancing the Top End lifestyle while offering distinct living experiences.

Victoria

In 2010, Urbex made its mark in Melbourne’s north with the $60M Hayson Valley development in Epping North, a 380-lot community that set a new standard for modern living in the area. Following this success, Urbex launched Ascot Chase, a boutique inner-city community that introduced green, open spaces to Melbourne’s urban landscape.

Now, in partnership with Newlands Group, Urbex is developing the Mandalay master-planned community in Beveridge, a 200-hectare project within Melbourne’s northern growth corridor. Mandalay offers a mix of residential living, recreational areas, and community amenities, creating a sustainable and well-connected environment for families.

Western Australia

In 2022, Urbex made it’s move to the West Coast with the acquisition of a site in Gosnells, Perth, where we created the Homebrook community. This 50-lot residential subdivision, located along the beautiful Canning River foreshore reserve, offers a blend of green open spaces and convenience close by accessible modern amenities.   This community is now sold out.

New South Wales

Urbex has made a strong impact in New South Wales with two landmark communities. First, George’s Fair in Moorebank, completed in 2011, delivered over 1,000 residential lots, creating a vibrant, family-friendly community with convenient access to transport and amenities.

Next, Elevation at Lennox Head on the North Coast presents a premium community that seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, focusing on lifestyle and sustainability to create a unique coastal living experience.
