Brisbane’s booming bayside has seen an influx of buyer interest amid the last remaining stage of land released to market in the highly sought after suburb of Victoria Point.

The well-established residential community, Arc on the Point, by local award-winning developer, Urbex, has received more than 100 enquiries within the first 48 hours of announcing its final land release of 42 homesites.

The strong early interest in Arc on the Point’s final land release highlights the acute shortage of supply for vacant land opportunities in well-located, lifestyle-focused communities in Brisbane’s bayside. Over the past 12 months the combination of rising land and new housing costs have made it challenging for first home buyers to enter the market at Victoria Point, prompting a shift in buyer profile.

“In addition, investors are recognising the long-term value of bayside property in terms of rental yield and dwelling value growth. With only 42 homesites available in this final release, opportunities like this are increasingly rare in Victoria Point’s tightening land market.”

In Victoria Point, the median property price for a house is currently $1,020,000 with annual capital growth of 15.9%.

In the last 12 months, Arc on the Point averaged 10 sales per month, totalling 118 sales across six land releases. The final land release, Parkland, features 42 homesites ranging from 350m2 to 429m2 with sale prices starting at $534,000.
