Townsville couple, Stevie and Phaelon, are proud first home buyers after a battle in the rental market and years of sacrifice in their early twenties.

Stevie, an assistant manager and Phaelon who works in aged care, were forced to relocate three times in just over 12 months after the respective landlords sold the rental properties

“We had been struggling with renting as our landlords sold the rentals we were in three times in a row, and we looked at each other and said we cannot go through this again,” Stevie said.
