Urbex’s $24 million country estate, Elwood Rise, has seen a strong demand from first home buyers and growing families, with almost 50 per cent of lots in the first release sold.

With 95 homesites planned for the new development, Urbex Sales Consultant, Trish Sheahan says customers will be attracted to the lifestyle that Elwood Rise promises, embracing nature and open space, yet is conveniently close to everything they need.

“Many people are choosing to invest in a home that is versatile – close to local amenities, access to the city buzz and beach hubs but without restricting the space that’s available with rural acreage living,” Ms Sheahan said.

“It’s rare to find such a well-connected and positioned community, and the response we’ve had from consumers and locals-alike has been really positive.”
Attracted by the estate’s tranquility and easy access to city and coastal areas, private rural living is proving a hit with Elwood Rise buyers.

“It’s been really rewarding welcoming the first residents into the neighbourhood and seeing their dreams become a reality. We’re really excited for the community that will be created here, several other homes are nearing completion and are almost ready for new families to move in.” Ms Sheahan said.

Set in a prime position, Elwood Rise is located in D’Aguilar, only 25km from the Bruce highway, 6.5km from Woodford, 20 minutes from Caboolture and an hour north of Brisbane’s CBD. Elwood Rise has welcomed its first residents, Navy veterans Ray Green (67) and Lynette Whatley (63). The couple are excited to be the first residents within the Elwood Rise and are looking forward to neighbours moving in and becoming part of the local community.

Mr Green said the country land estate was rare to find and ticked all their boxes. “We were on the hunt for acreage and came across a sign for Elwood Rise and we just fell in love with it,” Mr Green said.

“We fell in love with the price of the land and we were sold by the area’s tranquility and peacefulness.”

Building a home to suit their lifestyle needs, the couple opted for a comfortable 300m2 home featuring four bedrooms, study and media room. With a four-month project time, the whole experience was smooth from purchase through to moving into their dream home.

“The block was cut at the end of August and we were in on the 20th of December. It just flowed seamlessly and a big part of that was the builder we went with, Araman. Can’t recommend the builders enough,” Mr Green said.

“Our (Urbex) representatives have been absolutely brilliant each step of the way. If there’s any kind of problem, they’ll get back to us within 24 hours – our experience with Urbex has been absolutely fantastic.”

Ms Whatley firmly believes Elwood Rise’s popularity is because of its perfect location and easy access to local amenities.

“Both being retired, it’s nice to come home and be surrounded by scenic views you can enjoy with a cup of tea in the alfresco. It’s the life you always see for yourself,” Ms Whatley said.

“We’re only 10 minutes away from Woodford, where you can find Woolworths, IGA, family doctors and of course, lunch!

“It will be a great community for people at all stages of life, perfect for young couples with growing families, as well as retirees.”
